New position at Merck Ltd.
After 2 months of silence I got awesome news. Last week, I signed my contract with Merck Ltd. Japan. Starting by the 15th of January, my new position will be in Controlling for the next two years.
Unfortunately, there will be no time to go back to Germany after my studies are finished. However, I am planning to take a break in April/May and go back to good old Germany during this time.My new workplace will be in the heart of Tokyo's Meguro ward in the nice Arco Tower as shown on the right side of the picture below.

Cape York No.2
Last weekend, I received some additional picture and video material from our trip to Cape York! Enjoy!
The cows weren't that smart to give way... :-D
Time passes by even faster if you drink some beers while you get driven (...I said get!) :-)
No worries, this was not our car! Nevertheless, the old wrecks on the road always reminded us to drive carefully!
What a gigantic ant-hill!
These were my favourite falls. We managed to swim in between the cascades!!
Really far away from all civilisation! This video shows Richard while he is watching some other guys crossing the creek before trying it by himself....
Good that our Toyota has a snorkel! :-D
Trying to turn-around at the best location! ;-) We came into this situation because a tree trunk blogged the whole road! Moreover, the hill behind the trunk was too steep to just reverse back - so the car had to turn around that we could use the winch. Thx to richard that he installed that little gadget before the trip!
